<em>Pride and Prejudice</em>: A Bicentennial Bricolage
This volume celebrates the bicentenary of the publication of Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice, offering its reader multi- and inter-disciplinary critical essays which encompass literary criticism, analyses of the original novel as well as its postcolonial re-reading and re-writing in various forms, its cinematographic adaptations and translations, and its critical and public response throughout the years. The collection is introduced by Janet Todd and closes with a previously unpublished interview with Dario Marianelli, the film’s composer of Joe Wright’s Pride & Prejudice (2005). Caterina Colomba
Caterina Colomba is a Research Fellow at the University of Salento and a visiting scholar at Columbia University, New York, for the academic year 2015-16. She holds a PhD in postcolonial studies (2007) and has been the recipient of several awards, including an Australia-Europe scholarship for pursuing academic research in Australia. She has published essays and articles on English literature/s and, in particular, on Australian literature and culture.
